Cold coffee

don’t wait for me
because I won’t wait for you

there’s something that I need to tell you
about time and things you left behind
I spent this whole week drinking coffee
without sugar, or milk
and it showed me that the bitter of it would never change
but time could make me feel comfortable

I don’t want to feel comfortable
I told you about it
and it’s not because I’m always forgetting
I’m worried that we’ve stayed the same
stagnated inside some routine
until one of us realized that it’s not what we’re looking for

I’ll be honest with you
I can drink cold coffee
but I don’t wanna feel the cold of it
