I ain’t going nowhere

three stones no birds

Small steps to enter into a lake
where no one has been
it’s a cemetery
that I dreamt before

where do I go?
flustering waves coming out of nowhere
I’m a stone underwater
urgently thinking about rolling with it

I firmly decided to stay
watching life going on
fishes calling me to swim
but I can’t swim

I’ve been a stone since I was born
stones can’t do anything but roll and stay
roll to a cliff, fall and crack
stay here until this lack

last time I checked
this was home to me
nowadays more water is coming
pressure taking over me

I ain’t going nowhere
if only I could swim
to a way where here isn’t now
where I could be a fish somehow
